Thread: STILL ABOUT HAIR | Forum: Vue
Thanks to all for suggestion. How i've write on a post this is a test image, only to see what is the problem on HAIR... obviusly the other thing are wrong (illumination, light place, and so on...) So i'm working on a new test image to view some interesting change about hair rendering. At the end i promise to post a good image to see the real result.

I've test also in superior mode but i've not a clean render for hair... and this is a movie project so Broadcast is the best mode that it's possible to use to contain time rendering... So i'm trying some other setting to solve it.

Thread: Help animating Reindeer and Santa... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks 4dogday... I've a reindeer running in place (next i put it running in the sky exporting into another program). The harness and the brudle are two different object, and the bridles are formed from many pieces. So i had thought to a solution as that one yours... but is rather laborious. I thought that there was a faster method using the IK Chain or the Point to... but i can't find it. So if no other has some other solution, must begin to work on the possible one. Thanks. xman

Ok... probably i'm not explained the problem much good. I'm working on chirstmas project. So i have six reindeers that pull the sleigh with Santa Claus. Every reindeer has its harness and bridle (conformed to the reindeer). Now, when i animate the single reindeer the harness and the bridle move together to the reindeer. (and it's correct). But i need that one point of bridle don't move, because it's in the hand of Santa Claus (seated in the sleight). How can i make this ? How can i freeze a piece of props (harness or bridle) to make it not animated when i assign an animated pose to the reindeer ? Thanks. xman

I'm making some test to understand this problem... and i've find another strange thing... I've load my scene (animated): now i want to make a test rendering to view the result. I've tried to render all the animation only with my workstation and the result is 35 min. (low res mode) After this i've launch rendercow on my workstation and i've restart rendering but i've select the netwok render and i've add only my workstation as node: the render time (same scene and seme setting) go to 1 hour !!! So rendercow slow down.

All my bitmap are jpg or bmp, and all can be open with any program without problem. I'm sure the problem is with VUE. I'm working on animation and i'm trying to understand where is the bug.

Another stange thing about it... I've launch rendercow and i've added only one node. After VUE has sent scene and texture, i've open the TEMP Folder in VueRenderCow directory (on the node) and i've see that all bitmap are 0 (zero) Kb So all the frame rendered are without bitmap. Seem to be like if Vue don't remeber bitmap.

Yes i've download it... and yes this is black... This or the same in Bump Production or in Transparency Production. The path and the name of bitmap are correct but VUE won't to load it.

I've not try to disable OpenGL... so i'm going to test this. I'm rendering now... so i've some problem to mak a screenshot... but what you can see is a black box (where usually you can see the bitmap)
