Yes, it seems some vendors are migrating to DAZ. Fabiana and Lilflame have moved a big chunk of their catalog to DAZ, so I guess Lully is next and who knows how many more. I was more concern of not able to access my purchased items, but they're still showing up in my inventory.
I hope they don't abandon Renderosity entirely. I now rarely buy from DAZ due to their unnecessarily confusing and almost always broken mind bending sales tactics. And also their poor filtering system. Renderosity is much simpler and better experience in my opinion.Â

Apologies for hi-jacking this thread, but I've seen this request multiple times, too many times. Any chance we can just type the amount we want? Like, why can't we just choose the total of the certificate in multiples of 5 or 10 up to 50 or something like that? Has this been considered in the past? i'm sure every single Prime member will love to have the option to choose.

Just reporting back from my PC. Process was super easy. As you mentioned I opted for checking my orders page and hold and behold it was there. So I cancelled it and loaded the cart and applied the gift certificate. It's all good.Â

Thanks for your reply.  I’ll try the support system. Oddly enough, you say the order is still active on your end, but when PayPal sent me back to Renderosity after canceling, my cart was empty. So there was no cart for me to cancel. I had to put the items back.
 I’m on my mobile at the moment. I’ll do that once I get home.Â

I totally understand that not only this is temporary but the rules of the game can change at any given time. I don't see any problem with that.  At the end, any discount is a plus and beneficial to us the costumers.
The reason I bring this to your attention is because the ad does not reflect the reality of the current discount and that is misleading/inaccurate information, specially when the ad suggests a more generous discount than the current one. Just pay a visit to DAZ forums to see the plethora of people complaining about the never ending issues DAZ have with their super ultra mega unnecessary convoluted discount tricks and tactics that often times end up with errors and whatnot. One of the beauties of Renderosity is the simplicity of the discounts; no shenanigans, straightforward and on point.Â
Perhaps using a more generic wording in the ad can minimise any potential confusion and as you said, alert the costumers that discounts and tier thresholds are subject to change. We still have the green banner letting us know how close we are of getting any discount.Â

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, their stuff seems to be good quality. I just want to make sure I have a purpose for it. Are they heavy on resources or can you load bunch of the houses for wide/open shots?ÂYup, they are pretty much WYSIWYG. Doesn't stop me, though, I love their stuff.

Now, allow me to highjack your thread to request the opposite of what you asked.....
Any chance we can REMOVE the content advisory stamp from the product pages? I mean make it OPTIONAL just like the gallery. I spent a lot of time searching for products and it becomes a time waster having to click on tiny images to see the full pictures. Products without the CA stamp are easy to navigate as I don't have to guess which picture I want to blow up for more details. In addition, there are many products with zero nudity and yet all the thumbnails have the CA stamp.

I'm no expert either, but my understanding is that it is in fact copyrighted and you need permission (read as pay) for use and whether or not you can profit from such usage (the company will want a piece of that cake too). For 3d characters resembling real people, I think the likeness of a person is also protected. However, a company may choose not do go after people using their brand if the usage does not affect them in a negative way. In fact some companies may see it as free promotion. But is always better to play it safe and don't take the risk.
Example.
Say a person creates a 3d render (or any art really) of a happy family having fun at the beach and one of the kids happen to be drinking coca cola. However Coca Cola is not even the focus of the render, might as well could have been Pepsi or whatever. The image is a very well done render and sets a nice tone family oriented and it becomes quite popular, including its creator. The person keep getting famous with more creations and keeps the gimmick of using coca cola every now and then in their renders. All happy positive art. Coca Cola may choose to remain silent and don't do anything about it, because is free promotion and does no harm to the company.Â
Well, it turns out the creator was accused of *insert crime here* and is found guilty. Now Coca Cola could see this as a negative impact for their brand and may want to protect their image and disassociate themselves from this person and can sue the person for unauthorised use of their logo.
That's just one of example of an infinite possibilities.Â

I feel your pain. My grief is mostly with outfits though. There are vendors that rarely show the back of the outfit or even worse... THEY CROP PART OF THE OUTFIT OUT OF THE PICTURE. The level of rage I get makes me want to stop supporting the vendor. It's like they have great artistic skills, but they forget the whole point of the image is to sell a product, not to show off their rendering abilities.Some vendors who make female models use EVERY promo image of almost EVERY model to show EIGHT full frontal face poses.  Like, whats the point?  Many of these models have very pretty faces with marvellous skin textures - and I NEVER buy any of them because I figure that if they are wasting their 8 or 12 promo images to show virtually the exact same full frontal face image, there must be something WRONG with a 3/4 view and profile view of their faces - OR all their characters have virtually the same profile.  Don’t they ever think that just maybe, someone would like to see some view other than the front of every one of their models faces?  Maybe they’re making a fortune selling their models already.  But you know what?  They all look the SAME.  It becomes like looking at dozens and dozens of images of the same model.  Personally, if I can’t see the model’s  face  from a VARIETY of angles, I don’t buy it.  With some vendors who habitually market their models like this - I never even bother clicking on their products because I know I’m going to see nothing but the front of her face - and, with some minor variations, they all look like the same face.
