A Poserworld subscription is money well spent

If you have P4 IMO it's worth the upgrade. The material room and cloth room are definate gems. the hair room is cool but only useful for still shot's because the collision detection is COMPLETELY SCREWED UP. With current events being what they are I dunno if it'll ever get fixed either. Also the walk designer is somewhat broken in the latest patch, though there are workarounds. Worth upgrade price but not a cent more IMO. (Till they fix a few glaring bugs.)

I gotta say, I never would have guessed it was Posette. Very nice work.

BTW I don't think he's weird looking, I think he looks very realistic. I used to work with a guy who kinda looked like that. :)

The point is he looks different , which is great. Man I never really looked closely at peoples features (In RL) before getting into poser. It's truly amazing how much variety their is. I'd sometimes look at a morph and say that is so unrealistic...then notice a guy on the street with the same incredibly high/small/crooked nose. :) The point is some people DO look weird, and it's nice to have the ability to create a wide variety of interesting characters. Sure it may be fine to have your main characters be perfect specemins, but without some average, and butt-ugly folks in the background your scenes will look pretty fake. :)

Steve that looks great. at the very least might use it as a model airplane. :) Please don't abandon Mike and Vickie 2 too soon. Not all of us have gotten V3 yet. :)

I assume you mean Poser 5 (which is what you have in the title.) I'm not familiar with the product, is it strand based hair? If so Try reducing the number of hairs in the hair room (In each group) by at least half. Make sure you have one shadowmap casting light pointing at the hair,(The map can be small) This is to keep the scalp from showing thru. I've found you can get the strand counts pretty reasonable by doing this. (I experimented with RDNA's Mod bob hair for Vikki) Now if collision detection in P5 hair only worked I'd be happy. :) Hope this helps.

The polycount should be no prob... Dina V has a higher Poly count and works fine on most comps. It all depends on how many morphs you inject at one time. Only load the ones you need. At first I was annoyed by the concept, I felt it would hinder the on the fly creative process of experimenting with many morph dials at once... but after thinking about it it was very smart of Daz to do it this way. You get a next gen model that works on current gen computers. I will probably buy her before the end of the month.

Use a downoad manager like getright then you can resume your download that your idiotic ISP cuts off.

I'm inclined to agree with ratteler. V3 looks like a great product at a fair price. (as usual from Daz.) but i really can't see needing V3 right now. I'd rather spend the $50 getting a poser world subscription or something.
