The only way you MIGHT be able to get a version old enough to work on XP and it be legitimate(no viruses/malware), would be to file a ticket over at Daz and nicely explain your situation ad ask for an older version. But they might not even be able to or be willing to give you a copy.

These are all the "freebies" that were added to people's accounts. Some of them may not show up for you at the top of your product library if you already own them

This one is the best one I've seen: https://uzilite.gumroad.com/l/LNQpI It's for G3 but autofits fine to G8.

I just noticed I am missing some of my purchases:
the Hivewire Mustang I bought it on February 8, 2019, the Hivewire Friesian purchased on May 28, 2017, the Hivewire Draft purchased on October 19, 2017, and the Hivewire Arabian purchased on December 19, 2020.
And they're not showing up in my account here. Oddly enough I bought the Quarter Horse in the same order as the Mustang, but only the Quarter horse is showing up as purchased. Same thing with the Arabian, it was purchased in the same order as the Beast Horse, but only the Beast Horse is showing up. Should I send another email with this list?

I am please to say that all my Hivewire purchases seem to have been transferred over. Thank you very much to the people who undertook this gargantuan task, I do appreciate it.

I sent one of those way back at the beginning of this process, and I did receive a response. Should I send another, since I haven't had any of my Hivewire purchases added to my account here?

Seems to me, commissions provide artists better market to sell their illustrations. And a much better guarantee of authenticity. But who knows.
Thread: A suggestion to the vendors | Forum: Community Center
I'm not a vendor here, but I have sold some items over on Gumroad, and I pretty regularly make freebies. I only support Daz mainly because the base program is free. I do my best to support both Iray and 3DL, but I have no way of supporting Poser. I can't afford it. And there would be no point in using a free trial, because then what happens when the trial runs out and I still cannot afford the license for Poser? Not to mention, It's not that simple to go between the programs. It's more than just "a few minutes export time". You'd have to make sure the scaling is correct for the different programs, any morphs would have to be adjusted/corrected for the different environments. And if it was a clothing item, then fits would have to be made for ALL the necessary figures. It's really not as easy as it seems. And while, yes these are very unique times, people will make an effort to buy the things they want when they want them, job security notwithstanding. It doesn't seem particularly fair to Vendors/content creators to have to learn a whole new program's environment, just because of the current economic environment. Especially if they are using this as a full time job. Then they also have to consider weather or not the extra time required to create the morphs, shaders, textures, material presets, thumbnails, and promos for a program with which they have no comfort or familiarly is worth the financial return they may or may not get.

Well, I don't own Poser so I can't test it out for you, but it seems like it's fine. Did you do everything correctly according to the freebie uploading instructions at the top of the upload page?

is there some sort of waiting period with posting free stuff? I tried posting something and nothing happened.
If it's the first time you've posted a freebie there is usually a few days wait. Nowadays since I have a fair number of freebies up with no major issues, mine get approved within a day.
