I was thinking of the most typical thing one sees during the winter months in the Great Lakes region, and came up with this idea. Yeah, it's the "Dreaded Orange Monster" as those who shovel driveways know it. But without such a beast, how would one commute in the winter? (Perhaps just the hardy few with snowmobiles or snowshoes?) Anyhow, these machines keep Americans going during the winter and boredom and some odd humor of sorts inspired me to make a model.
The model was created in Anim8or, and then exported to Bryce in the .obj format. It's by no means a complete model. I added some other parts with simple Bryce primitives. If you like this though, I can get it up on my Angelfire site and add the link to my free models area of my gallery.
As for my December Challenge entry? Well, I guess it couldnt' hurt to post a link to the image in the Bryce gallery and then you can make your own mind up. Does it matter? Heh, I don't care, it's just for fun anyways - and I like that!
