Has anyone heard a release date yet??? Looking for a good Xmas buy

Aaargh, Anton, you guys are killing me! :) I must have the least time between Vicky upgrades ever. Free lo-res Vicky in August, Vicky 1 in Sept., Vicky 2 in October... Can I just work for you guys in trade for product? (grin)

Okay. Well it's Sunday and we are closed so don't check today. :) Between now and Xmas. We are double checking stuff and finishing support stuff. We need to be very thorough. Not trying to tease. I just didn't want to ignore this since you know I read it. So mabey not like tomorrow but soon. She is the most complex thing I have ever seen and likely will ever see for Poser. Almost like software rather than content. She is a complete redesign from parts to materials, mapping to morphs with some backwards compatibility options. Her ethnic morphs alone have been so expanded that there are around 10 asian variations. Snowsultan, now that we know how to inject and remove morphs with a pose file add-on morph packs will flesh out any gaps as time goes on. Her smiles are much nicer. I think we thought of most everything. Most moorphs have been completely rebuit. All have been improved. I know I work there, but I would say she is about as far above V2 as V1 was above Possette.... accounting for Poser limitations of course. Okay. I will likely get in trouble for this much so I am shutting up now Anton PS: Male Morphs

I'm with Carolly, let's not have another neutered Poser female - Equality Now. All that's needed is a genitalia switch like the males so those who prefer can use it. Of course, I'll continue to visit any fine pornographic sites as well :-)

V3 = M3?!? That would be so cool! There's still such a lack of Mike texture maps compared to Vic maps. If they shared maps - minus a few important features, obviously - that would be perfect! (And since I prefer my models to be at least partially clothed, I wouldn't care if certain areas weren't textured.) All I'd ask is that the male face look decent: I'm still bashing my head against the wall with the male version on Aiko. Well, I already check Daz at least 3 days a week, so 5 won't be an issue. ;-)

So, am I right in assuming V2 textures won't work on V3? Don't hold your breath on the genitalia, Carolly (ok, that sounds pretty weird--like a whole different kind of advice). Vaginas are illegal in Utah.

Mosca does that mean Utah has a male-only population? As for textures - Dan Farr has already said elsewhere that there'll be a "New V3 cr2" and a "V2 compatible cr2". Somewhat like V2's Posette compatible option, I imagine.

Anton-- The point is that DAZ has never, to my knowledge, offered a reasonable explanation for Vicki's lack of anatomical correctness (V3 appears to have a sort of ridiculous furrow or slot, but nothing resembling a human vagina). Why spend all that money developing a highly detailed, extremely sophisticated figure and then, eyes chastely averted, infect her with a bad case of Barbie crotch? If it's not the Utah factor, then what is it?

The only explanation I ever heard was something about not artistically necessary or some such - pretty lame. Think about this though, Stephanie based on Mike, Vicky 3 with 'male morphs' is there a pattern here? Perhaps Daz has a hidden transexual agenda. We don't need real women, just men with breasts. Gynophobia?
