Subject: A Bryce question about Poser's new home.

How can we convince Curious Labs to cooperate with Corel to intergrate Poser and Bryce? Will it really come to pass that Poser characters will never be animatable within Bryce? The very flaws and peculiarities of Bryce make it the "epic" environment for Poser life. An entire universe of surrealistic cartooning will never be. I know the integration was not going to be easy. Glorious capability never is. My heart aches -Gear

The prospects do not look good. How can you get two different company's together, when one company, that owned both, could not or would not do it ? There is kind of a work-around that I used. I had a 16 frame animation created in Poser. In this animation I moved the charecters, except for one foot of one charecter. I exported all 16 poses out of poser as OBJ's and imported them one by one into Bryce. I used the foot as a marker for each new pose position. It worked out pretty well. Maybe the next version of Poser will have better modeling capability's. Hard to beat Bryce enviroments though !!
