An innocent, beautiful young woman is left as sacrifice to the mysterious desert dwellers. Maybe this sacrifice will keep the people safe, maybe not. They approach with stealth until the deed is done. Tired, hot, and lacking any energy the young woman waits for the desert to take her life, wondering what she did to deserve this rechid hot death. The creatures will spare her the misery. Comments are appreciated. The above is the intended story, hope you get something from this image though it doesn't neccesarily have to be what I intended. Have a good one! Schnaps

The woman shows the "typical" texture wash-out Bryce tries. I think it has something to do with ambiance or lighting; haven't figured out how to fix it myself yet (maybe when my new CPU comes I'll have the power to actually play in the program...), and the winged skeleton doesn't seem quite .. right. Either it needs a bit more meat, or the wings need to look more ... skeletal (or at least the same color). I really like the sandstorm-like blurring on the image. I've never been in a sandstorm, so I don't know if the sky coloring is right; it's almost impossible to tell where the background ends and the sky begins; if this is intentional, good work; if not, then I don't know what to say!

I love the sky and the background mountains. The mist effect is great, but it looks weird on the first cactus on the left. The light colors are perfect. The pose of the front skeleton is also very good, but I would reposition the arms of the one behind the cross in a more meaningful way. The winged skeleton looks like hanging from a glider. IMHO, you should change the camera and image wide/heigh to have less empty spaces (or have them create some effect, like desolation). Overall it looks great. Rorschach

heyas; the landscape and all look great. (that is a little weird on the left cactus, though.) the pose on the front skeleton is very good, it is lifelike (undeath-like?) and interesting. it seems if the woman were suffering from heat prostration, her head should be lolling or drooping, or something besides the default standing up straight.
