Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 02 5:01 am)
I took a look at your rapiers and liked what I saw. It makes a refreshing change to see "real" swords being made instead of the fantasy jobs that are so prevalent. I would be more than willing to have a go at texturing them for you if you want me to, that is. Take a look at the attached image to see an example of my work in this field. The model is of a 16th centuey gunner's stilleto and was both made and textured by myself. The render was done in Poser 4.03 with no postwork.
Either IM me or drop me an email if you are interested.

Suggestion Make sure both parties understand what is expected concerning work and the cut of the profits. How the money is to be distributed, when, how much, etc. Is it strictly model by one, texture by another? Think about a contract, the person whose name collects the money is responseable for the taxes. The more that is understood in the begining, the less problems you will have later. Have fun.

Ok.... I just broke down and bought a copy of Rhino and I am revamping a package of swords that I had made before in Anim8or. The renders that I have done look pretty good, but I the one thing they lack are a decent texture. This is where I come to the point: Can someone either give me advice on texturing or create textures for them for me. I am thinking of selling them in the marketplace so naturally the texture person would have a cut of profits. If so please respond. You can check out the swords below. I have two done and more will follow. Swept-Hilt Rapier

P.S. Any feedback on the models would also be welcome. Thanks. -CelestialBadger
