Simple texturing and I really wish I could have gotten the sand to look a little better, but my main concern was the glass itself. Wings 3D did a spectacular job at modeling it (out of a simple sphere gagged at the middle then smoothed till death), and the way the glass bends inside itself for the gag, in my opinion, is pretty good. So it's a WIP, I need your opinions in general on what I should improve. I'm thinking of keeping the simplistic look. drac

I think the look is quite good too.

Looks good, but maybe clear glass?

Yes, colorless glass. And maybe it's a cliche by now, but the stand on hourglasses are usually made of wood.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.
