Subject: For rbtwhiz - V3 Body Morph problem

I'm having trouble with V3 Body Morphs

If V3 is the only character in the scene, and a PBM is injected, the PBM works fine ...
BUT if the "Millenium Null" is the first character loaded and V3 is the second, injected PBMs do not work!

I'm using Poser 4.0.3 on a Mac.

Steps to reproduce problem:

  1. Open a new document in Poser
  2. Load "Millenium Null" figure from libraries
  3. Choose "Millenium Null" from popup
  4. Choose "BODY:1" from current element popup
    (attempts to choose "Body" result in "No Actor")
  5. Load "Victoria 3" figure from libraries
  6. Inject "Pregnant" BM from libraries' Poses category
    "Pregnant" dial appears for V3's Body, and
    "pPregnant" dials appear for V3 Hip, Abdomen, Chest, Collars, and Buttocks

The "Pregnant" dial will not control the "pPregnant" morphs (The "pPregnant" dials can be used manually, so the morphs for the body parts are injected)

Choosing "No Actor" or "hip:1" at step 4 gives the same result: The PBM master dial does not work.

This is likely due to the fact that ERC for each of the morphs is contained within the individual files. In these files, all references to the controlling figure is "Figure 1" and instance ":1". Being that the null was loaded first, it occupies instance ":1", thus the injected morphs in "Figure 1" (V3 loaded second), still look for "Figure 1" instance ":1" (but instances become ":2"; the null occupies ":1") and the valueParms in "BODY" do nothing.

A temporary solution would be to first load V3 and inject the morphs that make up your character. Save the cr2 back to the library as said character. Start a new scene (don't just delete, poser will still keep track of instances). Build your second character... and save it to the library. Once you have all of your characters built, then use the same process as was used for previous ERC equipped figures.

Not the best solution, I know, but it'll work until I devise a better one ;).
