I am in the process of moving MATs to another library since I can't access some of my pose files..been hoarding lots, but I'm wondering if I can re-assign the hair files in my figure library to the hair library and, if so, how to do this. And, is there a way to make a "new" library. I am using P4 and PP. Thanks.

you can make lots of new librarys if you use a program called Pbooost , but out side of that no. You can pretty much move any file you want to any of the primary folders as long as you change the file extension to match whats already in the folder . Say you have a CR2 in the figures folder , you can move it to the hair folder but you change the cr2 to HR2 . Most people move extra files to the cammera, hands or face folder. Another recent post mentioned a free utility that would do batch renames of your file extensions for you. Only real problum i had doing this was you couldnt resave them back to the changed folder it has to be done manualy.

I use P3dO for all my batch renaming/moving. It has a great preview of all the rsr/png files and moves all the corrosponding files needed (cr2, rsr, png, etc) to the same place. It renames both filenames and extentions with 1 click. Trust me, a definite must have.

Thank you so much. A fine Christmas present! Am in the process of "conversion" today. I have PBoost, but it seems to confuse Poser and me..loaded new libraries and then couldn't access them. Bummer! Your suggestions seem to handle the situation nicely. Thanks again.
