Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 1:41 pm)
I had the same problem on a 2.53GHz P4 w/1GB ram on Win2000. Waited several minutes and ended up killing Poser 5. The All Morphs injection isn't worth it as far as I can tell. It creates a 102MB file which will be ungainly to work with on any current system. Better to inject just those necessary (or more and remove them when done). It actually takes less time and creates a much smaller file.
It does take several minute to install the "All" morph files. No idea why that would happen to you. We'll look into it.

Do you think this is caused by people installing V3 into none standard locations? Poser 5 let's you make additional runtime directories. I have one called MyPoser (for lack of more imagination at the time) under the Poser5 directory. Pratically everything in it is from DAZ. When I tried to use several of the "All" morphs, it took for ever and never actually did anything. Someone else on the forum said that if you install V3 to the Poser 5 runtime directory, that things work okay. I tried installing V3 into the default Poser 5 directory and then loaded the "all" expressions morphs and they loaded rather quickly. I think you can put V3 where you want her, but you have to edit the "all" morph poses so that they can find the morphs. I think the all morph poses reference other files. I haven't tried this yet. But it's what I understood from what I read. Kevin
I do have the same "days of waiting" problem with P5 on 1.2GHZ Athlon with 768Mo of RAM, Windows XP Home. I wanted to reinstall P4 but I'll try to reinstall Vicky3 in the Poser runtime instead of Download folder... If doesn't work I'll try with Poser4... I'll let you know what happened! :) Happy new year to you!
I THINK KEVIN RIGHT I OPEN THE ALL BODY MORPH INJECTION pZ2FILE WITH A TEXT EDITOR AND WE CAN READ THIS : version { number 4.01 } //Begin All Body Morph Injection. // All Chest-Breast readScript ":Runtime:Libraries:Pose:!V3 Chest-Breast INJ:AreolaBig.pz2" So the pz2 file load each individually morph where they are per default so if you move them you have to edit the all injection body morph file and put the new directory for each morph inside example : replace ":Runtime:Libraries:Pose:!V3 Chest-Breast INJ:AreolaBig.pz2" with ":Runtime:Libraries:Pose:V3Morph::!V3 Chest-Breast INJ:AreolaBig.pz2" V3Morph :is the file i crated for myself and where i put all the morph for v3 so it can take lot of time to edit all the Body morph PZ2
Ram shouldn't really matter unless your system is ancient.

I finally got around to trying to edit some of the "all" morph poses, and they work with the edit. I have Vicki in the following directory: Poser5MyPoserRuntime...Vicki3, etc. I added :MyPoser to the front of the path line and :Vicki3 to the end. I had to edit each line. When I was done, I saved the file and fired up Poser5 and tried to load all the chest morpsh and all the ear morphs. Those were the two files I had edited. The morphs all loaded in about a minute. I have a 2.7 ghz sys with 1 gb of ram and plenty of hard drive space. os is Win 2000. I was trying to just inject the all expressions morph option. I let it run all night still did not finish? I was able to inject individual morphs just fine each would take several minutes. Can anybody give me some comparisons on their time to inject the all( type of morphs). I think I need to contact Daz but I thought I would ask here first. Thanks, Tony
