Subject: Yet another Victoria-3 thread.....My first impressions....

I've V3 for about an hour (only tried it out for a few minutes after installing)..then quit to figure out the V3UVmap thing..but thats another story... Anyway, the figure looks good, and it looks like it will be possible to do alot of things...but.... Despite it saying (if I recall correctly) that V2 clothing will work with V3...it doesn't, exactly...I loaded in a couple of clothing items, and it seems that they will have to be adjusted a little to work...easy enough, but just wanted to mention it.

V2 clothing doesn't work with V3 unless you use the V3 to V2. As you have discovered you can get some of the clothing to work, but it does take tweaking and some clothing does work better then others. But no, Daz never said that V2 clothing would work with the standard V3 model, that's why they made V3 to V2 also. Pendy

Actually Pheonix Rising (AKA Anton - who works for Daz), said on many occasions in numerous threads that V3 would NOT be able to wear V2 clothes. He was up-front about it, even before V3 was released for sale. :o) Laurie
