Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Oct 22 7:36 am)
I don't know exactly what Ghosting does. But Bryce can't run without the Axiom system. It's a dll and set of resources (they're right there in Bryce's folder). Axiom is the system Metacreations used to be able to code for both Mac and PC at the same time. The resources are data for screens and stuff. Ghosting probably missed them or something or Bryce can't find them unless it's run from its own directory.

Hello, I know that this is the Poser forum and yes I have already posted this message in the Bryce forum, however, I usually get a quick response from the Poser forum would suspect that many users here also own Bryce. So I ask for your understanding of my posting this here also. I am running Bryce 5. After "Ghosting" my system, when I execute Bryce I get the following error message. It has Bryce 5 in the bar at the top.... "The default axiom application resource environment could not be found." Upon closing this box, Bryce ends. I know that if I reinstall Bryce it will work. But the point of Ghost is to not have to reinstall applications. Can anyone tell me how to fix or at least where to look? I have called Corel Tech Support and got no help at all. Any info would be much appricated. Thanks, Nebula
