Something I stumbled upon, and use every week once (not as a rule, but as an indication), is the program Studio Artist. It simulates strokes by analyzing the content of the photo, with knowledge of the way artist paint. They say. It works on moving pictures also, but I haven't seen any mtv examples of it yet. Click the link. Yesterday I painted Michael Dell (the one from those pc's) in the Dutch Cobra style. From a photo. It sells as digital art, for the price of the package alone. So if anyone wants to 'pass off photos as real art', this is the tool of the trade, I think. Major Oops... I just realized. It's Mac-only. Sorry for the rest.Content Advisory! anybody out there seen the intel commercial getting heavy play lately? In the beginning of it, some chick is taking pictures of a garage band, then she pulls them up on her computer, and uses some filter or something to change the photo to make it look like a pencil/pen drawing, similar to the Incubus video for 'Drive'. I was wondering if anyone knew how to accomplish this in Photo-shop or Photo-paint. Thanks in advance, George
