Excellent subject matter. The fall of communism was definitely a new beginning that should be remembered. My only suggestion would be to make the shattered glass more obvious. Perhaps more cracks? Also, is that the rock that broke the glass next to the picture? If so, I'm not sure why it is red. Lin
Draculaz the cracks do not look like cracks on first look. I only realized they were cracks once they were mentioned, I thought they were like star bursts at first. The red rock, does that represent the millions who died during the communist regime?, if so it is very effective. It is a great, thought provoking image. Catlin

I got the idea of making shattered glass, and this was the only way I could put it towards some meaning. I'm Romanian and I was only 6 when Communism fell, but I still remember many of its facets and I thought that I would do something different for this challenge. Again, it's only a WIP, I'm not extremely happy with it, and I expect your comments. A larger version is available through the link on my gallery. Hope you enjoy ;) Drac
