Yep, a little pixely at this point. Maybe at a higher res? :^)

Im working on a higher res as we speak. Hopefully there will be small improvement at that time. Kinda got to wonder if 62 lights might be excessive. Afterall, theres only a little glass in the whole picture.

(glares) Not sure, but I think if we all posted un-rendered screenshots of our stuff, then this site would be bogged with large colorful squares? But, I'm excited about YOU being so excited! The mystery here is enthralling...!

ICMgraphics ( ) posted Wed, 08 January 2003 at 8:03 PM

At this ponit I'd be tapping on the glass to see if the line moves. Can't wait!

Looks a little pixelated, have you tried turning on Anti-Aliasing. Hey with a little post work you can get rid of that line going across the top.

That's a nice head of broccoli you got there. Fresh picked? And what's with the 62 lights, huh? Be daring, go with an even 100. Agree on the post work and the line thingy, also. Try the clone stamp tool. You'd never know you used it.

I think you should just enter it, as is. A new beginning? There ya go! Who can gainsay this as a piece of art? (maybe a little motion blur on the Bryce Tools...?)

Zhann ( ) posted Thu, 09 January 2003 at 5:34 AM

Hmmmmm, yup, grainy pixelation alright, post work 'll take that nasty line right out, I am intrigued by the 62 lights and liitle glass though....:P

Tell me about it stash! Hours later u see your poser model is slightly not touching the ground etc, AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Aldaron ( ) posted Thu, 09 January 2003 at 2:32 PM

In that case you do a plop render instead of the whole thing. :) Fixes it right up and renders much faster.

ttops ( ) posted Thu, 09 January 2003 at 3:22 PM

Yep, I totally agree with some post work to take that nasty line out. :)

After much thought and pondering, I figured out what this is. It's a satellite view of the Amazon Jungle. Nice trees. :)

(grins) You CAN'T take out the "line". Contrare to popular opinion, Bryce isn't a ray-tracer at all. It's a Laser-Renderer. That little line? That's the LASER! Without it, we wouldn't get anything done! I think Bryce needs a Multi-Laser Array, or perhaps a Gamma-Ray-Laser-Renderer? Lasers are totally awesome, much like ninjas, and dragons.

SevenOfEleven ( ) posted Fri, 10 January 2003 at 11:10 AM

I had a 5 day render, thank goodness it was on my render machine. It was in regular render mode too with a little lumenosity thrown in. Not going to do that again for a while.

See! I told you the Borg were in on this! We even have 7of11 collectively speaking to us.........
