Hi all well I need some help and guidance. I understand the existance of the technical forums but what is the point of the rest. OT and forum thingy. the TOS what does it mean? "but is not limited to" "Additionally, any post or image can be removed at the discretion of staff if it is deemed unsuitable for this community." so what's the point of the rest? "Any member found to be impersonating a moderator or Admin of Renderosity will have his/her membership revoked" I like that one. Thank you for submitting your opinion. Your opinion will be posted once our staff reviews it. Thank you for your interest.

Ummm, boulder, I'm not exactly sure what it is you are asking here, but I will try and address your statement/question. The forums...OT & the "Forum thingy" (I presume you mean this particular forum you have posted to) um well, they are here because they address a perceived need for discussion in the community...people use them! The TOS exists to try and give everyone using the site acceptable guidlines & boundaries for behaviour, interaction and posting of images on the site. If we just left the "discretion clause" in without the rest, the members could think the site administrators and moderators were acting arbitarily based on subjective values rather than delineated guidlines if we chose to remove an image or censure certain kinds of behaviour, such as trolling. I'm glad you find the "Any member found to be impersonating a moderator or Admin of Renderosity will have his/her membership revoked" statement amusing...its always good for a laugh isn't it! ...and can I just say: "Thank you for submitting your opinion. Thank you for your interest." Grin
