Subject: Trouble with wavefront .obj

Whenever I try to save my figure as a wavefront .obj and import it into bryce 5, it doesn't work. My friend told me that after I save it in poser4 as a .obj, there should be another window opening up which should allow me to keep all the obejects together (at least thats what I understood) After I try to upload it in bryce, some errors show up and bryce closes. Is there a problem with poser? I dunno, just give me a few sugestions lol.

Which version of Poser? In Poser 4.03 a dialog will open allowing you to save it with various options.

Sounds like you don't have the patch. Go to CL's website, and dl the 4.03 patch.

have a quick look in freestuff for grouper 1.4 run your .obj through this following the instructions & it'll fix the problem, oh yeah the link is the homepage for grouper, tutorials available there too.

Do you have the figure selected before you try to export?
