Subject: Shrinking Poser Mov or Avis

Is there a way I can shrink or reduce the filesize of my current Poser mov/avis?I remember someone saying there was a free utility that could do that.I am using Win XP.Thanks for any suggestions.

I use VirtualDub to change the compression rate on my movies, my poser doesn't like to save in anything but uncompressed avi (Huge files). VirtualDub lets me choose any codec I want (DivX give the smallest files & best looking video so far)

I highly recommend VirtualDub, also. I've been using it for years. Should you have any questions about its features, post a message in the Director's Cut or Animation forums, and I'll be happy to answer.

If you need to create MPEG videos, try TMPGEnc.
