Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 26 2:05 pm)
A Poser figure is a group of body parts. Each body part is, for all extents and purposes, a separate mesh.
A morph only affects one body part. A full-body morph isn't really a single morph; instead, it's a number of morphs, one for each affected body part, and they're all linked together by a single control dial.
So ... if you want to do a full-body morph, you'll have to cut it up into individual body parts with the same grouping as your newly-created Poser figure. Then you manually load each morph into each body part, set all their dials to 1, and select "Create Full Body Morph" from the Figure menu to create the control dial.

I am wondering how to set up a full body morph on a figure.... More specifically.... I have created a figure in lightwave, as well as the variations that I wish to incorporate as morphs... I import it into Poser. I can also use the 'load morph target' on the object fine, but.... When I take it into setup and setup a skeleton, the morph I created for the object is gone... If I setup the figure first, then I can load the alternates as a morph target...I have also tried to save out the parts from lightwave and load each body part's target, but the vertices are always wrong (not sure why). Anyway, if anyone understood that and has a tip, it'd be appreciated. Thanx.
