Well, I get swamped by nasty boring graphics work for the FAA (lots of 3d airplanes, you don't want to know...) and look what I come back and find. We been ripped off (as if life is not tough enough on those blessed (cursed) with "art" in their blood. Okee.... so I searched with high anxiety for my Chancy and she was not there. Maybe the jerk had not found her since she still needs tweeking before real release. What a relief. I guess. I mean, we do GIVE these things away. We had to know that sooner or later someone would rip us off. It is the sad part of the net. Though almost all of what I do for the companies I work for is on proprietary locked up web sites, the second something is on the web it WILL be stolen by someone, if it is good. What we do here is good. How can we protect ourselves? We cannot. The horse is out of the barn. Now we must all calm down (I see no new posts since I read this all this morning, a good sign) and we can each use what we have. Each go to where we hang out besides here, and WARN them. I myself just wrote a warning to PLEASE not purchase this theifs art onto Gamasuta.com's bboards, as well as 3d Studio Max User forum bboards, and Animatek World Builder BBoards, and Slashdot.org's bboards. It might help. Mosts artists would frankly rather be boiled alive in pig puke than steal another artists work, and when the bosses budget to buy assets, guess who they ask what to buy from? The artists themselves. Let the professional artists KNOW! I would bet money most of them once warned wont touch the stolen art.
