Gracyanus ( ) posted Tue, 21 January 2003 at 3:28 PM ยท edited Tue, 18 February 2025 at 9:34 PM

I'm looking for help how to obtain effect of "paint" on render. For example like in the artworks of SkoolDaze, Crasher,... What to do, what technics or what filters use to obtain this effect?

This would be a wonderful one to cross-post in the photoshop Forum as well as the PSP and Painter Forums :) I would love to see their point of views on this Gracyanus. ladynimue

You can always experiment with the sketch render settings in Poser. There are an (almost) infinite number of combinations. A lot of 'em are crap, though. :)

Most of what is done for the "paint" look you are after is not simply done with a few filters, but with painstaking brush digital brush strokes in programs such as Photoshop, Painter and Paint Shop Pro. John (Skooldaze) has some tutorials at his site, I believe and so do Picky and Voodoo. Good luck. Cris
