Hee hee I have been working on her for about 4 days. and I think she looks pretty good. Any comments would be great. Also, I have a question, still being new, I hope this doesnt sound too ignorant. I have noticed that I have some clothes or files that have the poses in the pose library with them. Do we need to have the poses for each piece of clothing or accessory we have? And if so, do we have to use them in order to use the item? I guess that is the only thing left that I am still confused about. Oh one more thing.. where can I find more realistic eyebrows??

TIA!!!

Hugs,
Annette

Okay here is a close up, notice those eyebrows. that is about the only thing I am really unhappy about. Can anyone offer some suggestions??

Most poses for clothing are MAT poses to change colours and texture transparency. Generally, no you don't have to have them, but it often makes using the garments a damn sight easier. Eyebrows? Paint your own, or adapt some from an existing texture. Comments - The right hand is extremely deformed. The thumb is bent at an impossible angle and the hand is poking into the hip. Otherwise, nice work.

Sorry, I didn't realise what you meant about the eyebrows until your second post. But yeah, you'll have to learn to paint them in Photoshop or the like. Study how other people paint them in their textures. It's not too difficult with patience and practice.

Okay I think I can do the painting eyebrow thing. LOL and thanks for the info on the poses too.

I looked closer at that pose and damn, poor girl, that thumb thing looked painful. LOL I reposed her some and hopefully this is better :)

Using the Poser 5 Hair room you can grow any type of hair anywhere. Even for eyebrows. Then you can use the Material room to work the shaders.

Unfortuanately I am not using 5 I have poser 4 pro. Hmmm I am okay with painting, so maybe I can do it that way. Just take the renders into Adobe and fix em up. Thanks a bunch anyway :)

She is pretty Annette and I am glad her broken thumb was healed-that looked very painful!!! With eyebrows a good transparency map works wonders. If you have any commercial textures you should look at the to see how they are done. :-) Eric

I can't tell from here, but you wouldn't have your Groucho eyebrows showing through behind a transparency would you? You can tell if before you render there are dots and speckles in front of a brown arch for an eyebrow. You can get rid of it by finding the dial-- on the head-- for eyebrows gone. Dial it till they dissappear-- it isn't always at 1.000. Emily

Thanks a bunch Eric,I will look for some. :) and Thank you Emily. I am almost positive I had the transparency set. No matter what I tried, the color wouldnt go away before I rendered it. I did see the speckles too but the eyebrow color was still there. I couldnt find a dial for brows gone, just lashes gone. There is a brows in dial but that doesnt sem to do anything. Annette
