Subject: Guestbooks on homepages

I do not know if I set something wrong or what but the guest book on my renderosity homepage only shows me email addies. not the posts. I have double checked my font colors and all that good stuff. I went to the page to do my settings and bio and hit the view guest book entries ........and nothing but email addies and dates. any ideas?

That's all there is, members can't leave comments only their email so you can notify them of new posts.

I think it is weird that you can't turn the guestbook option off. I'm not the notifying type...I'm not going to pester people by announcing my latest exercise in futility. I'd just as soon turn both the guestbook and the "vote" button off. But that's just me.

I was confused because you can actually type something in with a subject line and all. I was going half nuts trying to find the posts.lol

It is a bit confusing but that message box is so you can notify everyone in your guestbook at once when you hit the Broadcast message to guestbook button.

ahhhh thank you. I kept trying to get it to work..lol those people must be wondering what all those messages are that are titled "just testing this again to see if I can get it to work" ..LOL. I appreciate this. Now I will stop fiddling with it. Thank you all for the help. :)

Would it be possible to make it so that the guestbook at least matches the email address with the Rosity username. Would make life a lot easier in knowing who you are sending mail to.
