So.. what do you think of this one?

Chrisdmd ( ) posted Wed, 29 January 2003 at 12:02 PM

Love the room, the texturing, the lighting....but the figure - let's just say you might have issues :) Great image!

Doublecrash ( ) posted Wed, 29 January 2003 at 12:17 PM

Awesome. I love everything in it, figure and textures specially. But... are you sure of that colored light-halo? IMHO, without colors it would be more dramatic. Stefano

Off the wall!! Great scene overall.

That's just weird and freaky. You really do an excellent job with textures. I was noticing the nice stains along the tops of the tiles. If you are going to keep putting up pictures like this, you are going to have to start providing some sort of explanation as to why you thought of it. Or is there some book out there that I'm missing. By the way, are her hands resting on a control panel or is it just an ordinary counter top? Lin

Woohoo! Fantastic job! Kinda "Nightmare on Elm Street". I cannot say enough good things about this one. Five stars, three cheers and two thumbs up. Stand tall and be proud!

Bryce is my therapy, the best way to take full control of my fears and nightmares is to put them in image... Isstrout.. providing explanation has to why I thought of it, in fact and to be honest, I don't think of the image topic untill I start to work on it.. it start with a texture, a terrain.. the idea comes as I build the scene.. and then It's just like the result appear to me.. I just got to "copy" the image I have in my mind, I don't know what is the meaning of this image, I just know that I got to do it, and I like it, not for what that image inspire me.. but I like it for what it inspire to other viewers. Thank U Goingrinder for your kind comment and support, thank you all, ICM,Blueardor, rayraz, Doublecrash, chris and everybody.......... I can improved my Art thanks to you all. Cheers

Oh PJ this is so out there, freaky. Don't show it to your psychiatrist or you'll get locked up. Apart from being really wierd it is a great image and I think it looks like something from Jules Verne's "The Island of Dr Moroe". Catlin

I remember my kid seeing a deer head at a restaraunt and wondering if the rest of the animal was in the next room. I get the same feeling from this image, too real to be abstract, incomplete, unnatural, unsettling, and a whole lot of other adjectives. These are like the dreams I had every time I got a teatnus booster as a kid... dark, vivid, and brilliant!

This one is great.

Very dark, kinda City of lost Childrenesque, very thought provoking, great image...I never let my dark side out, afraid I won't be able to reign it in again...

Phantasmic! A scene straight out of hell! I love it! Seems almost like she's part of the plumbing in this dungeon outhouse. Looks dreary, drab, dark and dank. Downright spooky! Nice piece pidjy!
