Just wondering what everyone would think about a Game Forum for 'Rosity? Currently we have a Gaming Graphics Forum, but no place to post tech info and tips, for gamers. I think it would be nice, but Id like the other members input. I can't count the number of times that I myself needed a little bit of info on a game problem, only to find that chat sites, manufacturing companies, and the like..just wasnt any help at all. your lucky if you get a reply from tech support, and you wouldn't believe that some of the chat game sites dont even want to talk 'games' Anyways, I was just wondering what you all thought of this idea. i personally dont think its a good idea. Game forums regarding to game problems belong at game sites. Renderosity is not a gamers site. There are hundreds of forums out there, and sometimes dozens for one game alone (a la counterstrike, UT, Q3, etc).

Games require artists; therefore gaming is somewhat relative to this site providing it is related to the artistic side. Wondering how to cheat on level three or whatever is not relative to this site.

Yep, I'm with the others here. There's no reason to turn an art site into a game site, especially with so very many game sites out there.

i find gamefaqs.com to be the best one in my opinion. i do not want 'osity to be a game cheat site

Well, I never meant it to be a 'game cheat' forum..I meant the tech support part..If we have a Gaming Graphics Forum.. wouldnt it be something similar? Say like, "Im having 'such and such' problem with this 'such and such' game. Anyone know anything about it?" Ya know, tech stuff..video, sound, graphics, etc...not cheats at all.. Oh well... it was just a suggestion that I guess will go down the tubes again.. No worries.
