Are you using Poser 4 or 5 ? In poser 5 : select your obj, go to the setup room, create 1 or 2 bones for it, assign your groups to the bones and go back to pose room. in Poser 4 : import your prop twice, so that you'll have 2 body parts. Parent one part to the other (say, the left part to the right part). Go to the hierarchy editor, select the parent part, click on "create a new figure", the new cr2 will appear in your "new figures" folder. Load it into Poser, open the hierarchy editor again, then click "create IK". Set the translate x.y.z and rotate x.y.z minima and maxima to 0, so that your stick's parts stay united. Save your cr2.
