Subject: Error Loading a Scene.car file

Hi, I,m a newbie to 3d modelling and Carrara. I just purchased the book "Carrara 1 Bible" by Doug Sahlin. I am following his tutorial and created an underwater scene which I saved as a .car file. Unfortunately every time I now try and open this file it opens but then the screen freezes, by this I mean the mouse will move around but nothing can be selected. The only way to get out of this is the CTRL/ALT/DELETE combo which says "Carrara is not responding" Does anyone have any ideas on this?? I tried calling Carrara tech support but it is now none existant as Adobe owns the product now. I called Adobe and they said they don't expect any type of support (didn't even know about the product) for at least several months. Needless to say this is very disappointing and does not bode well for this product. Please help.

I am on a 233Mhz G3 Mac with 160 real ram. I gave Carrera 110mb ram. I am not sure how ram works in PC. But if you are talking about the scene.car from the Carrera tutorial, I had the same thing happen when I started with Carrera. Do you have the Carrera update? I think that fixes it.
