Actually, it kind of a cool shot, taken from my back door, barely having to go outside. But after seeing the previous post by zhounder, I'm almost embarrased to post this. But snow is rare here in Memphis, and one night last week we had a slight overnight snow - ALWAYS a reason to get out your camera. N-E-Ways, it's my last post from that camera because last night I ordered from DigitalBuy.com a Minolta DIMAGE 7I. This is the biggest thing that's happened to me since I first got laid. OK, maybe since I first smoked pot. OK, maybe since the first time I ran a red light and didn't get caught. Whatever, I can't wait! I just can't wait to get my hands on it. More to come...

You mean you run red lights, do pot AND have sex? Man, you're a real tearaway.... suppose that's all in the last 72 hours too........? Cool pic! erm - is it just me or have some of those flakes got movement blur the wrong way? ie. those big 3 in the middle seem to be flying UP?!? (",)

btw, I wish I hadn't got rid of my little point & click digi - the big one's cool, but y'know how they take like a second or so to autofocus? Well, I like getting candid shots in crowds, and the little one (having a fixed focus and focal length) was MUCH better for it..... and more discreet. Gonna have to get another.....hmm. I like those ones that are the size of a thick pen.... lol (",)

Jordy, 1) Good point on the candid shots with an auto everything point and run camera. I'll remember that. 2) In the last 72 hours? Hardly. More like SINCE 1972....sigh 3) Good point on the "wrong" flake movement. All I did was selective contrast adjustments. I think that even though the snow was slight, it was very windy, so they could have been blowing up at the time of the shot. Good eye! marshall
