Hi Sandoppe, others- yes, that is the plan: Once I've the thing finished, it will be compressed, and "distributed" via DAZ, this excellent site, my own place as well. In the meantime, I'm adding chapters as I can, so it will be still plain html for some time- sorry. I'm doing what I can! Hi all,OK, I went soft and started on a tutorial :-) Most of you seem to have got the message of how to play with EC II; but - and I'm pleased terribly they are so few!, I seem to have got it almost right there- a very small minority didn't.
So, for them, and for you perhaps as well, this what I propose:
1)start out with the principles of Radiosity;
2)then main points to keep in mind for when working with EC II;
3)then explain all modules in detail, with as kind of red thread: creating a "white" light (which is unnatural, and therefore NOT what EC II is created for - so it's going to be fun).
I'm in the middle of preparing for a bundle of exhibitions of my paintings, so I have very little time; but I think I can add a chapter, so to speak, every few days. I'll do the utmost, anyway.
If you have things you would like to see in the Tutorial, let me know at
tech@pcbos.nl
And if they're any good, I would love to put them in!
Before I forget: "principles" is already up, at EC II page at my site
