I look at the other entries and am almost ashamed to post my feeble attempts, but I entered last month and I can see the improvement in my work in the month and a half that I have been using it. Anyway on to the description. We are the gods of Bryce. We hold the hammer and chisel of imagination to make out of the shapes a whole world. That is what I came up with. All Bryce primitives, terrains and rock generator used.

Excellent for only your second challenge. I really like this one. I know how you feel. I'm glad I posted my attempt early, for after seeing everyone elses, I'd have been too intimidated to put mine in. But I also see improvements in my attempts and that is a big part of the purpose of the challenges - to push ourselves to try things we may otherwise not try. Angela

This is a good, clean, sharp render and the way you've used the presets and primatives is very effective. I really like the chips of glass flying off the rectangle. As for these monthly challenges, they get you thinking about ways to work in Bryce that you might not otherwise and because of that your work improves in leaps and bounds. So who's looking forward to next months challenge......8) Catlin

I am definitly looking forward to next months challenge. This month was my first month entering a monthly challenge, and also I feel I am not up to par with some of the other artists. But still i feel that the challenges are exactly that. A challenge. And that gives me something to strive for. You have done a great job, and I hope you enter another image for next month!!!!!!

I want to thank everyone for their comments. When I look at my work without looking at everyone elses I am proud of what I have acomplished. It is only when I look at those that have been using the program for sometime that I feel inferior. I am sure that they feel the same way about their first works though and I have enjoyed these challenges and am looking forward to many more. Practice makes perfect (or in my case just better).

I like your entry! The chipping effect is my favorite part of your composition. It represents a creative mind working at it's best. . . . Also, you should NEVER feel inferior!! As long as you try your hardest, you should know that any work that you present will be respected in this forum. . . . I've been a participant in this forum and challenges for a while now and I still feel apprehensive about submitting my work . . . . . but I have realized that by submitting I learn! Welcome to the club!!!! : )
