Rai has created a new Elektra file for the 3DCC... I still can't get this scene from the old Daredevil comics out of my head. Was anyone else surprised by that issue? Doug PS: Elektra will be posted at the 3DCC this weekend! Bullseye is already there... and waiting.

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

I was SOOOO bummed! Do you have the hardback "elektra lives again?" Story is murky as the grave, but the art is stunning . ('course, I think ol' frank walks on water...) Anyway, great job with this image... Mary

I have the limited series "Electra Assasin" and it has awesome artwork. I think "Electra Lives Again" was the sequel , am I wrong?

If it wasn't for this thread I think I would of forgotten about EA. And that would've been a shame considering the plot was very good and what can you say about Bill Seinkiwitz'(?) artwork.

Shouldn't the back of her costume tent out? ;) I remember this. I remember when Byrne did the X-Men and Kirby did the Fantastic Four. God, I'm old.

I think the "tenting" was to appease the CCA? but you're right... I forgot that subtle detail. Doug

No, the "tenting" was because it was a loincloth initially rather than an aerobics costume...also she had that headwrap thing, which is why I haven't tried to make vic into elektra because I can't model props yet. As for old, I don't remember kirby on FF but I do remember when bill sienkiwitz was that new guy on that "new mutants" book, and everyone thought an x-men spin off wouldn't sell! And I was at the chicago comicon on its 10th anniversary and met sienk. and FM and paul smith kissed my hand and Steve Rude chatted me up. Very odd to go from never being noticed to being the only girl in a huge room full of teenage boys...talk about attention! Anyway, maybe I'll haul out my elektra books and give that texture idea a whirl... Mary

Jeez, I thought this was a trivia question "when was Electra murdered?" I was going to answer (in the form of a question), "Right before she died?" Scarab <-just slap me, I'm used to it by now......

I've updated the image and posted it over at the 3D Comic Collective. Thanks for all of the input. Oh, and Sienkiwitz is the master of comic abstract... I still like his Shadow issues. Doug
