ok, i am NOT a wedding photographer, my mothers friend got married, i was invited to the wedding and was asked by the bride and my mom to bring my camera just to take pix of things going on... this was shot on fuji nps, then tweaked in ps for the effect... im kind of pissed i didnt use the omni-bounce i brought w/ me to help diffuse the light so there wouldnt b the shadow behind her, and the veil makes it appear as if the brides face is out of focus, which its not... but overall, i think she will be happy when she gits the framed and matted 8x10 whats everyone else think?

neat PIC. I like what you did with the roses. Do you have a full color picture. For comparison. Bsteph

Personal opinion....either all B&W or all color....the colors of the flowers seem to overwhelm in the B&W version....or maybe just tone the colors down a bit?

I am, therefore I create.......

Due to the white dress I would actually suggest sticking with full color. Changing the background works well though because (IMHO) the medium browns in the background tend to compete with the more subtle tones of her skin. Beautiful Bride! Magick Michael

I just removed those jpgs from this forum topic to help conserve free web space for other Renderosity members to use in the future. :-)

Final comment: I would consider experimenting with use of the smallest size paint brush w/dark color to seperate her face from her hair/veil, especially right over the left cheekbone. I noticed big difference when I tried this, although I suppose it is not an actual photo then. Nice picture though. Good luck. :-)
