Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 6:57 am)
The MTL (material) file is actually part of the OBJ file, though it's made as a separate file. Poser imports and exports the MTL along with the OBJ. The MTL carries colors, textures, and bump map info. But when Poser mixes the OBJ info into its own files like CR2 or PP2, the MTL is no longer needed as a file; the colors and textures are contained entirely inside the CR2 or PP2.
