Ah, Bryce, my only ray of sanity from packing, packing packing...I've been playing with metaballs and the Bryce 4 Kaliedescope from Hilltop Design, alternately... and found some fun stuff...

Tell me more. what is this kaliedescope thingy. looks terrific. And How Many metaballs there, and please how do you squish them like this?

You can get Steve's kaliedescope at the links there are two different ones..and in the pic there are 75 metaballs and you squish'em same as you squish a sphere, elongate on the 'X' and then squish on the 'Y' (the one featured has another metaball embedded in the center)...hope that helps

Thanks for the information. Still can't get my meatballs to look like that. Will keep trying.
