Subject: Full body morphs have stopped working

The full body morphs have stopped working on all my Poser figures. They used to work, and now they don't. I've heard that full body morphs can't be created on figures in a scene containing multiple figures, but I haven't found a reference to them not working once they're present on a figure. The body morph dials (such as 'thin' on Michael) just don't seem to have any visible effect on a figure, regardless of their setting. Morph dials on individual body parts are all working fine. Custom body morphs can be applied using poses, but the dial then does nothing. I can do the usual reinstall of Poser that seems to sort most program glitches, and hope to fix it that way, but I was curious to know if anyone else had had the same problem, if they fixed it and how it was solved.

Actually if you ARE going to reinstall, why not reinstall the characters? Sounds like something has gone awry with the characters (obj/rsr?) rather than Poser itself. But I don't know. I've never expirienced that before.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Have you checked for crosstalk between multiple figures? Do any full body morphs work on the first figure you loaded? I've forgotten a bit about crosstalk since working in Poser 5, but as I recall, it's the later figures' morphs that don't have any effect. Settings on the first also appear on the other figures (but only for those morphs that share the same internal name, which may not be the same as appear on the dial). If you have Vicky 2 or 3, Michael 2, my P4FemMagic or P5JudyMagic, do their eyes reposition automatically with morphs that raise the eyes, etc? That function uses Remote Controlled Morph code too, to change the eye's x-, y- or ztrans settings. HTH, Elisa/gryffnn
