I want to make characters for victoria 2, mike 2, and stephanie but dont have any 3d software to make them. I know zbrush is great but i cannot afford it at the moment. What is the best way to make great looking characters using only poser 4 and pro pak? Does anyone know any good tuts or give any good tips?

Hi, If you want to modify poser characters you already have you can do that in poser, but I don't know about making entierly new characters that way... I did make characters with other 3d apps, Strata3D and Cinema4D, not exactly easy work! I have some renders up in my gallery and on my web site you might want to look at. I know there is usable 3d software that is free, but you'd have to look around depending if you are using a pc or mac. Hope that helps! :)

You don't need 3d software to maker characters out of Mike or Vicky ... you use either the existing morph dials for each body part, or you can buy MAT (material) or MOR (morph)pose files from here that change characteristics of characters. You can also prowl around looking for morph files to import, usually face files. The other complementary method of character changing is with different testure files. Skin color changes plus the standard ethnic morphs on Mike or Vicky will do a lot. There are some body shape pose files ... check the store This is a character I built from a Dr Sapiens character I found God knows where, plus a few of Mike2's morphs.
