Another set of cool shots PC!!! Like how the window framing in #1 sort of dissects the train & #2 kinda reminds me of DJ turntables! L8r!

Choo choo choo... WoooWooo! The first one is a strong graphic. Be fun to "trace" it with that vector program of yours...

Oh, woooooooh ! These are very very nice, PC ! What kind of film/camera/settings ?? I'm really curious how you got that kind of exposure with bright sun and shiny materials. Nice !! =)

I like the second and third. And some one PLEASE tell me why they like the first. Nothing is wrong with it but I am just courious why the first is better liked than the second or third. For me the fince is very distracting. So... I am trying to get a handle upon what others consider good images. I realize I am often an odd man out regarding pictures and therefore I'm trying to get an understanding of things. So PC you are getting a graduate degree in ...What? Bsteph

Nice exposures you have there, Cam. Makes me want to do the same. (Too bad cameras are prohibited in the metro systems here, I think... and I don't want to pull a Slynky hehe...) (*

Great contrast is what caught my eye before anything else! Like Rork, I'd like some info on these. BTW, #3 looks like a giant mouse trap. ouch!!

Thanks people. These were all taken with my 1.3 megapixel digi, which I would really like to upgrade, but can't afford to at the moment...none the less, despite my reservations on the limitations of the camera, I am still trying to "push the edge of its envelope" to get interesting shots, so I appreciate the positive feedback I've been getting for this particular sequence of images. Basically, I take the original shots into photoshop, desaturate them and then adjust the levels & contrast until my personal artistic sensibilities tell me to stop! Some unsharp masking, cropping etc usually completes the process... :-)>

bringing up the rear again... great trio! there you go- with PS one can take a halfdecent shot & with a little tweaking make it an excellent one! I was thinking mousetrap too when I saw 3 in the gallery :)
