THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Importing error message

I am going to post this in the Bryce and Poser forums, hopefully someone will have an idea about whats going on. I have two figures I created in Poser, one is a simple poser character with two poser props, the second is a character with several clothing items and props. My problem comes when I try to import these into Bryce. I keep getting an error message that says "A file error has occured (i/o bad media)". Any one have an idea what causes this and how to fix it? Thanks for any help.

Try this thread, I think it is the same problem/solution. Hope this helps.

Also, I strongly suggest you try "Grouper" to simplify the import process. It's a great utility, free software.

Doublecrash: Grouper was the subject of the link I gave above, LOL!

or get the Pro Pack..it's (or was) on the Curious Lab's site..I've brought in a figure, clothes, and guitar at the same time with no real trouble (other than the dress didn't fit, but that was me..;)

Thanks gang. I downloaded Grouper and will give it a shot. I hope it works because I sure dont want to move everything over one piece at a time. Thanks again for the suggestions.
