Ok, I posted it in the gallery. Credits: Robe by Anton, Hair by Allie, alien morphs by Trav, fire by Clay, hat by myself (though I now wish I'd made it a little taller). I'm depicting the scene where Gandalf is fighting the balrog in the mines of Moria. I'm really fuzzy on it all, since I read the books four years ago. Wish I could have found some demon-like wings for this, but, well, I couldn't. Opinions welcome. =) Rosh

Pretty cool; I don't think the Balrog had more than vestigial wings at best (it lived in a cave, and fell to it's death, after all!), so the image isn't hurting for their absense. I think Gandalf should have a sword or a staff in hand when facing this thing, but otherwise good work.

Thanks.. like I said, I'm working entirely from 4-year old memories here. =) The staff thing did occur to me right after it finished rendering.. but I don't have patience for another 3 hour render. Rosh
