I had no intention of entering the challenge until 5 minutes ago when I saw the subject and realised my last pic seems to fit the rules. The bots (metachickens) are part metaball and so are the spacecraft. Some of the land textures are photographic, from when I was bored and went out with my digital camera last week. No post-work except colour correction and a bit of radial blurring, and no imports. Hope you like.

ICM - Not too long, actually - 3K x 2.5K took around 5hrs on Premium 4. I did start it off with soft shadows but it barely moved so I went back to default.
