I have been playing on and off with this for yonks. It is two renders (background with dragon and foreground figures)and quite a bit of postwork. I guess the surrealness of playing with fairies and dragons was getting to me! Any opinions would be welcome but please be kind - I am still learning and the original renders were done when I had only been posing for a few months.

Dragon is great. If you still have the pz3 file with the two in front-- the fairy could be looking a bit more directly at the centaur-- it's just a matter of either a head tilt or an eye adjustment. It would really bring the two of them together. I don't the like the lighting on the foreground, but. . If you readjust her head---you should be able to superimpose jsut the adjustment without a whole lot of extra postwork. And then I gotta ask, did you adjust coloring and contrast at all? I really want a light that focuses on the two arguing and the dragon's head and throws the rest into shadow, because that's the heart of the picture and the rest is distracting. Emily And,yes, it's worth making better-- that's a heck of a dragon pose!

LOL What a WONDERFULL idea! Just the sort of surrealism I love! Like Gary Larsson and such. The things about improvement has been pointed out by others. I just love the pic nevertheless :o)

Thanks guys, yeah - I am pretty naff at lighting. You are quite right, she is not really looking at the centaur is she? I will play around with the lighting - and read the various tutorials on here! Thanks again.
