Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 11 3:50 am)
You can unlock the libraries with a free utility called Correct Reference. It searhes through your textures folder and cleans up the references between them and the objects which use 'em. Incorrect file references are the primary cause of file locking in Poser. Once your textures folder is in apple pie order, run the compatibility test again. When you start to use PBooost, run CR every time you install something new. Word of warning, a first time run of CR can take hours.

Hi, I feel stupid again, but what should I do when it says "file not found". I am not sure on that point. Thank you in advance. Warm Regards, Nancy Deer With Horns (SophiaDeer)

I am running windows 2000 and want to use PBoost to organize my files some (funny how things pile up after a year)....but when I ran the PBoos compatability tester, it says that windows has locked the libraries...so PBoost would not run properly. Is there a way to unlock the libraries with windows? or...what functionality will be lost with PBoost if it is not able to be unlocked? (as far as I read, it is just that it will not be able to make changes while poser is running....is that all?) Would it still be worth the purchase even with this limited functionality? Rawnrr
