Hmm... I found Animals of the Rain Forest by Steven Savage and The Rhythm Book by Steve Savage over at Amazon.com. No idea if they are the same person or not. I found a thank you to Steven Savage, creator of Xai, via a Google search, so he's inspired someone. Now have to look to see what Xai is. Besides the articles he has a set of "Generators" at that web site, in case you are ever struggling to generate a name, monster, or such for a story. I prefer to dream up my own, but some folks might find them useful. jon

On this site, there are 56 columns on writing by Steven Savage. Who is Steven Savage? Heck if I know. Can you possibly get good advice on writing from someone you never heard of? I don't know. I guess if you have heard of Steven Savage, you have more information than I have but I would be delighted with any insights. On the other hand, without knowing anything about the man or his success (or lack of it) as a writer, I thought he had some interesting to say in his columns. Cruise through and see what you think. By the way, he does have a science fiction bent, but I think he speaks beyond his primary interest. You may or may not agree. Have fun.
