Subject: I can't get my cuboard door to hinge in the right place

I'm trying, in Poser 5, to move the yRotate centre point to the left so that my cuboard door hinges on the left. How do I move the yRotate - it just won't budge using the joint editor. This feature worked fine in Poser 4 but it won't work in Poser 5. I can't find any mention of this in the P5 manual.

I don't think this is a P5 problem. I just now tried with one of my furniture figures, and all three of the rotation points (Offsets) of the door were able to set via the Joint editor, the same way in both P4 and P5. The only think I can think of: Take a look at the CR2 file, and see if the door has "static 1" anywhere in its paragraphs. Change all "static 1" to "static 0" and see if things improve. (Editing detail: look for "static", not "static 1", because there may be variable numbers of spaces before the 1.)

No, it's not the CR2. I haven't got as far as creating a CR2. I'm still working with the obj's in Poser. I've written to Curious Labs telling them I'm fed up with their confusing manual and software that just doesn't work!! The manual for Poser 4 was just as bad, but fortunately P4 was easy to learn and use. Poser 5 is just a diabolical mind puzzle like the game 'Myst'. It's a complete waste of money. Strange isn't it that so few people have answered this question of mine. It just goes to show that perhaps many others can't get P5 to make models either.
