Guys N Gals, Over the past year we've seen some changes in the forum; with the mods, the members and in the overall attitude. We seem to have lost a few good friends, but we definately seem to have gained some! We certainly cover the technical aspects, and we seem a lot more comfortable with each other and having a few quite serious debates. Ok, sometimes too serious, but hey - we're artists, we're known for being emotive ;) Anyways, apart from the Monthly Challenge and the Quarterly Banner thingywotsit, we seem to be mainly on a serious side..... SOOOOOO......... I think we should have a brain-busting session to come up with ideas that add a bit of short-lived fun on a regular basis..... and this time, we don't just harp on saying "Damn good idea" and then forget about them... we (GASP!) follow them through and DO THEM!!!!! Yay - isn't THAT a novelty?!? he he he OK, not one to get other people to do all the work, here's an idea to get us started...... Every week we have an item. A single item, preferably one that is common to all nations and easily obtainable. Within that week we take a quick pic involving that item, but the emphasis isn't on creativity or presentation, it's on the FUNNIEST thing you do with the item..... yeah?!? Is it catching? Ok, I know just a week is slightly restrictive on some of you film guys, but if we plan say 2 weeks in advance, it should even out the odds. CRUNCH TIME - think the mods get away with no work?!? Sorry, girls..... we vote on the funniest, the winner gets to choose next weeks object. Or, if the girls can't fit it into their tight schedules ;) we can nominate trustworthy people on a rotational basis. (I should hope that covers everybody here, but volunteers only - you won't be forced!) Ok, any takers? anyone think I should just go boil my head? ANYONE GOT A BETTER IDEA? We wanna hear THEM ALLLLLLL!!!!! MWAAAHAAAHAAA!!! (",)

Sigh - I see I need to explain myself...... OK, FOR EXAMPLE ONLY (ie, don't go doing this yet!) I say "Lightbulb" on Monday. By the Sunday Night everyone has took funny pictures involving a light bulb, and the next subject gets said to be "Stairs"...during the week that "stairs" is up, we all vote on the "lightbulb". Whoever wins chooses the following one etc etc etc. Clearer?!? he he he ;) (",)

you know we still don't have reliable electricity up here in Canada yet, so getting the pic of a light bulb won't be a problem, so long as its alright if it doesn't turn on...

uh Jordy, my idea for a fun life includes me, two ladies, a bottle of wine, and I don't think I should continue with this line of thought in a public forum....but yeah the funny picture thing works too!
