Text needs more work. Image is fine. Very rare that covers like this do not have a bit of black shadow offset. Very rare. I'd say pick better fonts. Bit of offset and never rotate text. 1001fonts.com is a good place to pick up fonts and yes there is more than 1001 fonts there. I even got one there. I think I'd use a x-files font. My 2 cents.
many different fonts in this poster:( I think you must used 2 or 3 fonts ,, no more ..and maybe a little bit shadow... dont rotate fonts .. and the size many sizes .... ZThe images look good and very nice project .. easy to corect your stuff
I agree with the above - text needs more work. As Benettor said, 2-3 fonts max. Try to select the font sizes depending on the relevance on the poster. The important informations should be so big that you can read them by passing by with a car - only less than 1 second time for getting the information. Try to leave a little space for the illustration as well. It is nice and it does have a function. If not, take it away. Walther

It looks good but........ I'd make it so the most important other than the header is adjusted by size relative to importance. What? Ok I'd, me personally would do this.... www. and down to the seniors line I'd make that smaller text. That's not too impostant. The dates at the bottom two lines same, smaller text. Huntsville logo slightly bigger. Try to move that block of texts from tickets to seniors up sligtly. Almost to her hand. Gee this is difficult to explain.. I dragged it into photoshop but that is not going to work. Ok top to bottom Tickets available Slightly bigger By calling no change Logo bigger so it is the biggest thing sticking out on the left and right side sudo margins you got there. Phone number same size as now. WWW address smaller. You already have there attention if there still reading it. Prices / texts smaller. Move this entire block of text above up closer to her hand. First line Von Braun line slightly bigger. Dates slightly smaller . I think I'd rearrange them too Hard though the dates and time are like there is no good pattern there to go by. My 2 cents.
I like it, especially since you cut down the number of fonts. The second poster isn't as busy so it has more impact. If it was my poster I might want to try a version without the text over the bottom of her boots but its a difficult call to make.

There is a third version I will be posting in a new thread soon. I'm afraid that the powers that be, however, think that it is too risque. So I'll probably have to come up with a whole new concept. Or at least a radical departure from this one. For some reason the theatre group doesn't want to offend the 80+ year old season ticket holders... but wants to attract the 20somethings and 30somethings and 40somethings. This play was selected BECAUSE of the risque nature. But we don't want to offend the older crowd!!!! Grrrr. At the very least I've been told to try and loose the word Sex in the catch phrase.
The younger crowd are forgetting the older crowd have already been there done that. You should remind them of that fact. You could use the line. Science Fiction, British Style. Thst's the problem with these projects ay? Too many ideas of what they don't like but forget to tell you what they want and even if you made it that way perfect there would be one who would still not like something about it. I've done too many of those kinds of projects already.
Well, thats life with clients, isn't it? Especially with projects like this. Like MightyPete said, too many ideas and no one coordinating them or taking the responsability. I decided not to do these things anymore. No theatre, no youth/sports club, no academy/university, no public anything. Business clients are difficult enough. Good luck and let us know, Walther
