I vote to do away with the ability to post animated html comments to an artist's work (in the galleries). I find it distracting as well as very disrespectful to the artist. My two cents worth... keep the change! Muddy

Moe, the use of animated (or even colored) html screams "I want attention" and IMHO is a very childish thing to do. Of course I wont lose sleep over it... it's just a suggestion. Muddy

I think the animated comments are neat myself,not distracting or disrespectful in any way. I think its a sign that the commenter likes the picture well enough to spend the time to make his comment animated. Id call it flattery instead of disrespect.

Look at deviantart.com - everywhere you look on the site there is someone's stupid personal animated tag. It is distracting and pointless. And those hideous signiature messages, too. Do away with the lot of 'em. I actually don't see much of it here, though.

I'll have to agree with the distraction. It's quite distracting, and annoying to me.
